Vase

Miniature Teotihuacan-style incense. The lid depicts a figure wearing a tall headdress with zoomorphic design, with open eyes and mouth, followed by a band with four floral motifs. The face is painted red and displays open eyes, an aquiline nose with a nose ornament, earflares, and a necklace with circular beads. The figure features extended arms, holding two rectangular shields; at the center of the torso there is a horizontal band with a circular appliqué in yellow and red. The bowl has a convex base, a pedestal support, and rectangular handles on the sides. The decoration includes a central talud design, with a red horizontal band at the upper section and another at the lower section, as well as circular appliqués in the middle zone of the bowl.

Incense Burner

Codex style vase with an underworld scene. One side has a jaguar standing, surrounded by star symbols, with its jaws open, its tongue sticking out and wearing a sacrificial or wahy [way or waay] scarf. On the other side, the torso of a character with a black headdress decorated with the upper jaw of a long-lipped monster and long feathers inside of, what appears to be, a structure made of bones. The character is surrounded by nucleated eyes and has round earflares, a necklace of made of eyeballs, a square breastplate, and wristbands made of beads. The right arm is bent over the chest and the left holds a triadic plate with a femur, a severed hand and a nucleated eye.

Codex-style Vase w/ Jaguar & Stars

Anthropomorphic whistle in the form of a standing dwarf with his left hand on his waist and his right arm, fractured,  extended to the side. He wears a feather headdress, a diadem decorated with discs and fringes, a hip cloth, round earflares, and an oval pectoral made of cut shell. This whistle figurine was made with a mold with details made by hand.

Trumpeter

Miniature theater-type incense burner lid in the Teotihuacan style. At the center is the face of a figure, probably a warrior, decorated with a stylized butterfly nose ornament and circular earflares. With his hands, he appears to hold two banners that form part of the lateral framing elements. The upper frame of the lid is composed of a feathered headdress decorated with five discs arranged in a staggered pattern, while the lower frame consists of a horizontal band, or mantle, featuring a central medallion. NAA of the ceramic paste indicates the Pacific Coast of Guatemala as its origin or place of manufacture; examples of this style are generally found in the region of Tiquisate and La Gomera, Escuintla.

Earspool/Earflare

Small bowl with lid, stuccoed and polychromed, the interior of which contains powdered red pigment. The vessel is round and decorated with blue, white and pink stucco. In the central part of the body it has a horizontal band with relief designs of human faces in profile, abstract figures and what could be phytomorphic motifs (leaves and vegetation). The lid is round and flattened with a knob-shaped handle in the shape of a head, wearing a headband decorated with incisions, his hair tied up and back, and round earflares. This vessel may have been used by a painter or scribe.

Orange-colored anthropomorphic figurine representing a seated woman with her legs open, nude and with an exposed bust. She has incised hair, punctuated eyes, arms resting at the waist, a visible navel, and open legs. She wears only circular earflares and a necklace of spherical beads. The registration record indicates that this piece dates to the Middle Classic period (A.D. 400–600) and originates from the Tiquisate region, Escuintla.
