La Motilla del Azuer (Daimiel, Spain) is a Bronze Age fortified enclosure built of stone and defended by an outer wall and several intermediate walls. Dating between 2200 and 1500 BC, these walls protect the oldest and most well documented motilla in the Iberian Peninsula. Additionally this site exhibits an impressive funnel-shaped well that is more than 20 meters deep allowing it to reach the aquifer.

Some of the data for this project were originally collected as a joint effort between researchers at the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM), the Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) and CVAST at the University of South Florida (USF) under the legal permission of Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha (Expte. 16.0834-P1. Sistema de documentación 3D del Patrimonio Cultural de Castilla-La Mancha). Data were provided by UCLM and FBK and are now being re-analyzed and re-processed by Global Digital Heritage (GDH).

Earl’s Hill Hillfort is an Iron Age enclosure 7 miles south west of Shrewsbury and immediately south east of the village of Pontesbury, Shropshire. The site consists of an earlier oval enclosure on the summit with a defended north gate and a later elongated annexe to the south extending along the top of the ridge. There is another defended enclosure approx. 400ft down through the woodland to the north known as Pontesford Hill Hillfort which is covered in trees.

The castle comprises the original enclosure of the medieval village of Montemor-o-Novo. The virtual tour we present to you has the approximate length of a 1,5 Km and starts in the former Church of S. Tiago / Interpretive Center of the Castle. It goes through the streets of the centuries-old intramural village and gives you a better understanding of both the past and the present of this place.

This model is one result of Global Digital Heritage's campaign in Alentejo (Portugal) in 2019. A product of the processing in Reality Capture of the 15.306 photos of two drones working on site, one by Miguel Angel Hervás (Baraka Arqueólogos S.L.) and the other by João Marques (GEODRONE). The campaign was supported by Montemor-o-Novo's Municipality, Évora's Municipality and Direção Regional de Cultura do Alentejo.

The Neolithic stone circle is thought to have been constructed in around 3000 BC, and is potentially one of the earliest in the country. 

The monument includes an oval enclosure of stones which contains a smaller enclosure and two barrows, and an outlying stone. 

The oval enclosure includes 38 large stones, some standing up to 3m high and some fallen, and 3 smaller stones; it encloses an area measuring approximately 32m north-south by 29m east-west. 

Castlerigg Stone Circle remains unencumbered by modern development, and is one of the finest examples of a large irregular stone circle in England.

Giza V2.1 is a watertight “digital bas-relief” of the Khufu plateau, built as a procedural heightfield on a polar disc and extruded into a closed manifold (χ=2). 

It includes the Great Pyramid, Queen pyramids, Sphinx with enclosure trench, mortuary temple + causeway, boat pits, temenos wall, and surrounding desert/bedrock. 

The Great Pyramid uses a true square plan (Chebyshev metric) with linear height falloff, Petrie-slope calibration (~51.844°), and subtle 8-face concavity via a cos(4θ) term. 

Masonry is expressed as stepped courses (35 visible bands) plus a casing-to-core transition (smooth lower “Tura” vs rough “Mokattam”). 

Micro-engraved cues mark the north entrance and internal axis (Grand Gallery / King’s Chamber hint).

Instead of reducing the free movement of the IFS tubing to the extruder caused by the enclosure, this mod allows for the almost original clearance of the PTFE tubing. In my opinion reducing the strain on the extruder assembly. At the same time this will seal the open air gap from the original slot on the enclosure. -Basic design.-Modified models C4 and D4 from the official (new taller version) AD5X enclosure.-The slotted acrylic panel is replaced by 2 printable panels. Printing notes:-For printing the hood i used tree supports and reduced the acceleration speeds by 10x to improve on some corner overhangs. Flashforge AD5X Enclosure Mod - Large PTFE pass-through

This enclosure is designed for a temperature controller that plugs into a wall outlet and accepts an oven power cord as input. It switches the oven on and off to maintain a user-defined temperature, which can be set using the three buttons on the top of the unit.

The enclosure is intended to be 3D printed in PETG with a minimum of three perimeters (walls) for adequate strength and heat resistance.

Inside the box:

A small PCB with a voltage regulator steps the voltage down from 22V to 12V to power the main control board because I have used a power supply from an old ink jet printer.

The main temperature control board is a commercially available temperature control module (AliExpress).

All screws are M3 countersunk, used with 3.5 mm M3 heat-set inserts.

A small hole near the button openings is provided for the temperature probe wires.

⚠️ The maximum oven power is limited by the relay rating: 2500 W.

The wayside shrine to St. John of Nepomuk in Vienna-Liesing (Kalksburg) is located at the corner of Gütenbachstraße and Breitenfurter Straße. The statue, created around 1900, is a cast-iron representation of the saint and stands on a neo-Gothic pedestal within a small enclosure. The saint is depicted holding a cross in his arms—one of his most important attributes—which he devoutly holds to his chest. His statues are often found on or near bridges, and he is venerated as a patron saint against water hazards.

This incense burner features a biconical pedestal base, resembling an hourglass, and a sculptural lid of theatrical style. The lid contains a central enclosure in which a figure is depicted holding, with both hands, ceremonial scepters topped with owl heads. The figure’s face appears fleshless, suggesting the use of a detachable red mask, complemented by a butterfly-shaped nose ornament. The headdress, forming the upper frame of the censer, is decorated with floral appliqués and two owl masks that flank a stylized face of a supernatural butterfly or a moth —an element symbolically associated with warfare.

Modular Split Enclosure with Center Interlock

This  incense burner features a conical lid with a ceremonial enclosure, within which a richly adorned figure is represented. The figure wears a tall headdress, a trapezoidal nose ornament—possibly a stylized butterfly—and earspools, all elements that emphasize its ritual and symbolic significance.
