The bots are designed to withstand a fair degree of punishment, and each generation of robots learns from the experiences of the previous. The machines are quite fierce and agile; they often dance for several minutes looking for an opening, and seem to posess a cunning that is frightening to observe.

Barricade is one of the many Decepticons who arrived on Earth during the first Transformers film. Whether it's hunting puny humans or just shooting at things, Barricade provides a threat on the battlefield that all Autobots have to watch out for. For all his crimes as a Decepticon, he tops it all off by transforming into a Cop Car, meaning humans will run to him for help, so he can gun them down himself. But then again, the words "To Punish and Enslave" are written on his door. He appears to be a cliche bad cop, as he fiercely interrogates Sam Witwicky once he locates him in Transformers.

Sekhmet is a warrior goddess as well as goddess of healing. She is depicted as a lioness, the fiercest hunter known to the Egyptians. It was said that her breath formed the desert.

“Kusunoki Masashige ”1893.

In the corner of the Kokyo Gaien National Garden stands the imposing bronze statue of Kusunoki Masashige. Kusunoki Masashige was a famous military commander who was fiercely loyal to the Emperor of Japan and fought for him in the Genkō War around 1330. It is well-known as one of Tokyo's three major bronze statues.

It took about 3 years to make a wooden prototype sculpture, and 10 years to complete the statue. The Statue of KUSUNOKI Masashige was produced with a lot of knowledge, time and passion.

“Kusunoki Masashige” Takamura Koun

My final entry for the statues texturing challenge organized by Sketchfab and SMK on the theme of gender representation in classical sculpture.

**My interpretation**

I tried to infuse this model with the theme of the sea, thinking of this statue as an old ship figurehead.

Burnt and torn apart during fierce marine battles, it was then meticulously repaired by the ship's captain, who replaced the damaged parts with inclusions of aquamarine, and finalized his craft with seals of gold. 

I love to imagine the captain as a very masculine yet paradoxical man, a bearded giant letting his deepest emotions, hidden to its pairs, appear through his delicate work.

Textured in blender by cautiously mixing PBR textures, then baked to the unmodified challenge's model. Post-processing and lighting were kept simple to emphasize the texturing work.

A captain's pride

A fierce lizard warrior with an evil and menacing presence. The character is highly detailed, featuring reptilian scales, sharp claws, and battle-worn armor. Designed for epic fantasy settings, it exudes strength, agility, and a terrifying warrior aura. Perfect for games, animation, or cinematic scenes that need a formidable reptilian fighter.

Heideltraut is a major antagonist in the 2022 indie horror game The Heilwald Loophole. As the nurse in charge of the sick ward at the ominous Heilwald Klinikum, she presents as a strict, seemingly caring caretaker fiercely protective of her patients. Haunted by her heavy workload and the Klinik’s terrifying experiments, she’s become a wrathful, relentless guardian who pursues intruders with immense strength and thunderous stomps. Though knowledgeable in medicine, her methods are twisted—she’s implied to sedate and neglect patients to keep them quiet rather than heal them. Heideltraut never speaks, yet her presence looms large: she cannot be harmed or escaped from in her domain and will headbutt or throw the protagonist to block progress until you’re caught. Her mutated form and furious defense of the sick ward embody the horrific corruption of the Klinikum’s staff.

The Heilwald Loophole: Nurse Heideltraut

Located in the northern wall of the chancel of Strade Dominican Priory (MA070-067001-), Co. Mayo. This 15th-century wall monument is one of the finest surviving examples of its type in Ireland. At the base of the arch on the western side is a carving of a lion with tail between its legs,  rising above the body of the animal where it ends in a bushy tail.  In medieval Christianity, the lion was a complex, dual-natured symbol, primarily representing Christ’s power, resurrection, and royal authority but also, paradoxically, the danger of the devil or fierce, untamed power. Bestiaries popularized myths about lions resurrecting cubs, mirroring Christ's resurrection.  Lions were thought to sleep with eyes open, symbolizing Christ’s ever-watchful nature and divinity during his human death on the cross. Lego Harry Potter: Professor Lupin (2004)

is a highly expressive 3D figurine built around an intense, almost theatrical scene. English Version
The statue of Golden Peacock King (temple tradition name: Sanchi Taishō) is one of the Twenty-Eight Deva Guardians protecting the Thousand-Armed Kannon at Sanjūsangen-dō. A National Treasure​ from the Kamakura period, it stands 164 cm tall. It embodies the deification of a peacock known for devouring poisonous snakes. Its most striking feature is the dramatic “split-face” composition: a new, fierce countenance with three eyes emerges as if from within the original split visage, creating powerful tension. The little finger on its left hand is damaged and missing. This statue exemplifies the remarkable artistic creativity of Kamakura-period sculptors in expressing the transformative power and majesty of guardian deities.

This statue of Asura, a protective deity from the “Eight Legions” of Buddhism with origins traceable to ancient Persia, is part of the “Twenty-Eight Deva Guardians” at Sanjūsangen-dō (Rengeō-in) in Kyoto. Created in the Kamakura period​ (13th century), this wooden, gold-leafed​ statue is designated a Japanese National Treasure. It depicts Asura with three faces and six arms, adorned with an ornate crown, a fierce expression, a bare torso, a skirt, and dynamic scarves, standing powerfully on a rock base. The arms are posed dynamically; while most hands likely originally held ritual implements, which are now missing. Nevertheless, the statue remains a powerful testament to the masterful realism and awe-inspiring artistry of the Kamakura period.
