2019 Bugatti Divo

This is my take on the horrific great carnivore worm that serves perfectly as an unsuspected giant enemy in your tabletop campaign or just a paintable mini for your own collection.

I was highly inspired by the magic the gathering design.

antique table

This is a slice of americana pie. 

I wanted to capture a 1920s American cafe, this meant every element had to be carefully considered and designed. 

I spent a couple of days just creating designs and gathering references, this process really made creating the 3D assets painless and quick.

These were used whenever I was unsure about a design or material.

None of these are very high quality, but they get across enough of an idea for me to transulate them into 3D. Thumbnail sketches like these really help me make an approachable end goal. The table was removed because it cluttered the scene too much.

First shown during a street gathering with Danny and his team. It is later shown as the race was about to start. Prior to the race, Danny Yamato plays a 1997 racing video game "Gran Turismo" on the PlayStation hooked up on his car, crashing a Mitsubishi 3000GT.

Third attempt at this one. A small gathering of stones set apart from the Kings Men at the Rollright stone ring. Listen closely and can hear hymns and witches cackling. Nice to see a few other people there.

This model was generated from 151 images taken with Go Pro Hero 9 using the Agisoft Software at low resolution. The site is situated at Maltraeth Sands, Anglesey, and is believed to tbe the bow section of the Athena, a 369gt wooden brig built in 1840. At time of loss on 20 December 1852, the vessel was reported to belong to Candia (Heraklion, Crete). The master was Capt. George H. Colscundi. The ATHENA was bound from Alexandria in Egypt to Liverpool, and was freighted by Cassvotti, Brothers & Co., with 3000 Ardoles New Sardi beans. Part of the cargo was saved, in damaged state, along with sails and other materials. The Llanddwyn lifeboat saved the 12 members of the crew. The brig had broken up by Christmas Eve. Local people were employed in gathering up the cargo of beans, which has spread along the coast, into heaps ready to be taken away by cart. Always had this idea of Deadspace meets Adr1ft so decided to create this using Unreal 4.

This was put together in roughly 45 hours (includes reference gathering, concepting etc). The main goal was to focus on creating a good looking still image without trying to get caught up in the tech aspects that usually bog down a typical production workflow.  Because of this I opted to use alot of gumroad assets to speed things up here and there.  The following assets were used as a starting point:

Facility BETA 9D - Panoramic View

A compact futuristic table for a small company of 2-3 people. The tabletop with soft built-in lighting creates an ideal atmosphere for evening gatherings, and the massive base has a heating function.

ABS-CBN Corporation is a Filipino media company based in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is the largest entertainment television and film production, program syndication provider, film distributor and media conglomerate in the Philippines.

TV Patrol Model

The legendary Metallica ex-bassist Cliff Burton has been an icon in the metal world for decades, with some of his most prolific work being played on and recorded with this just as iconic custom Rickenbacker 4001. Cliff made this instrument fully his own with the replacement of the two stock single coil pickups, in favour of a Gibson humbucker and Seymor Duncan Jazz bass pickup, creating a tone like no other.
However, in this rendition of the instrument, it hasn't been carefully preserved in a museum, but rather continued to be used, getting worn down and rather filthy over its lifetime. The rubbed-off varnish and paint on the body and neck tell the story of a player, or players, who have improved and grown as musicians through this one-of-a-kind bass guitar, while the rust and wear around the electronics, the pickguard and the edges of the wood suggest that this piece didn't just sit in a lonely room gathering dust, but that it has travelled and experienced all sorts of environments, forever engrained within.
