This grizzly bear specimen was donated from a local zoo. The skeleton has some interesting pathologies including  advanced arthritis and a pair of extra ribs.

The PKM was adopted into service in 1969. The PKM is a modernized, product-improved version of the PK. The upgrades, primarily aimed at reducing the weight, simplifying production, and facilitating easier operation. The receiver cover became more rigid due to lengthwise ribs. The butt was fitted with a hinged butt-rest. The barrel fluting was omitted and the flash hider was changed. Later on the PKM was equipped with a new black glass-filled polyamide buttstock and pistol grip shaped like the previously used laminated wooden stock and grip.

The Chapel at the Charterhouse, London.

The entrance is through the ante-chapel and this area is the oldest part with the bosses and stone ribs dating from 1512.

The first aisle of the Chapel used to be the monk's chapterhouse.

In the 17th Century the Chapel was extended with a second aisle and the large monument to Thomas Sutton was added.

The seating area to the side was added in 1825 to accommodate schoolboys who were not Foundation Scholars.

The Chapel can be visited freely at any time during Charterhouse opening hours.

Here is our recently completed Llama glama anatomical layout! This specimen is part of our osteology comparative collection here at the Idaho Museum of Natural History. We aren't sure where the specimen came from, as the records are incomplete, but the prep work on this specimen is rather crude. You will notice that the ribs and cranium look particularly rough, and assembling this skeleton was a tough job!

Bocky

A terrifying flying horse demon with a faceless skull-like head and an exposed skeletal structure. The body is thin, bony, and unnatural, with visible ribs and stretched limbs that give it a disturbing, undead appearance. Large wings extend from its back, built from bone and torn membranes, allowing the creature to hover silently through the air. The absence of a face enhances the horror, making the creature feel soulless and cursed. Its posture is aggressive yet controlled, as if it is an ancient demon bound to the skies, perfect for dark fantasy, horror scenes, or hellish environments.

Titanoboa is a genus of extinct giant boid snake that lived during the middle and late Paleocene epoch. Titanoboa was first discovered in the early 2000s by members of the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute, which–along with students from the University of Florida–recovered 186 fossils of Titanoboa from the Cerrejón coal mines in the La Guajira department of northeastern Colombia. It was named and described in 2009 as Titanoboa cerrejonensis, and lauded as the largest snake ever found at that time. The brooch is originally with has a chain and is characterised by a symmetrical, external spiral head with six turns. The semicircular bow has pearl-shaped ribs separated by narrow spaces. The brooch has a spherical foot decoration. There is a narrow ridge before and after this decoration. The foot of the brooch rests on the bow.
