This was a dynamic time in the use of the sword as combatants transitioned from mail to plate armor and the use of the buckler was common.

Here's a visualization of 688 exoplanets from [NASA's exoplanet catalog](https://go.nasa.gov/2y0sll0) (which contains 4152 exoplanets as of April 28th, 2020), done with Python and Blender.

**Disclaimer:** I filtered the exoplanets according to parameters of interest ("only" kept 688), and spent some time recomputing parameters (such as surface gravity or temperature) while re-learning some "basic" black-body radiation and orbital mechanics equations, before mapping the resulting parameters to positions and textures in Blender. The values in this visualization are therefore approximations (and should not be used for interstellar navigation &#128517;).

I tried to create a simple rig animation control with ground detection for the wheels and the suspension.

Also I added some animation-constraints for the steering wheels in the front and the rear, the guns and the outboards.

The animation happens on bone-layer 1.

Just for fun I created a driving through a wall physics animation
by using cell fracture.

Sony Robot Challenge - Lucky Cat Chop House

Well, this is one of my first attempts to learn 3D modeling and texturing, after working with 2D motion graphics for 5+ years. I really enjoy this process, and I hope to learn more about 3D. so any kind of feedback will be very much appreciated.

In this little sketch I wanted to combine 3d geometry with stylized 2d graphics and create this modern illustration feel with hand-drawn shadows and highlights, so please write in the comments how well this turned out.

Cheshunt Bofors Tower

A World War 2 auxiliary water pumping station at the end of the L-shaped pier by the Anchor & Hope pub, Charlton, London.

These pumping stations were used to pump water from the river into the mains water supply to provide extra supply when putting out fires in nearby areas such as the docks. This is one of the last to survive.

The GR Yaris is built on a unique platform, combining Toyota's new GA-B platform (which debuted on the new generation Yaris hatchback) and a rear section adapted from the GA-C platform used for the Corolla and C-HR. The rally team emphasised the importance of light weight and this is reflected in the use of aluminium body panels and a forged carbon composite roof in the body structure, and scrutiny of how weight could be reduced in parts throughout the car.

Ticks (order Ixodida) are parasitic arachnids that feed on the blood of mammals, birds, and reptiles.
