Animated Rigged Horse With Saddle

A free low poly horse. It is rigged with 2k texutres for both the Horse and the Saddle. The rigging is not perfect but it got the job done for posing it. You can use this in whatever you like, just please credit me.

This work was exhibited in the Warsaw Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts in 1907. The sculpted Hussar from the Jan Matejko House is identical to the original painted as a panneau by Leon Wyczółkowski. 

Artist Leon Wyczółkowski created a decorative panneau of *Knight among Flowers*, depicting a Hussar sitting on horseback and blowing the horn against the background of a flowery meadow. 

The Hussar on horseback dressed in armour with gilded wings and eagle feathers. The horse is covered with a red-and-gold shabrack (cavalry saddle), decorated with colourful glass imitating precious stones, and fitted with a decorative gold harness.

Hussar on horseback

The 3D model presents a digital reconstruction of the very specific kind of women’s clothes such as a side-saddle riding habit (RH) used in 1875-1915. The riding skirt is presented in a historical book  Levitanus, Z. (1907), Shkola krojki (School of dress cutting), Published by the author, Riga, p. 87. Outline shapes and construction of “shaped” riding skirts as important part of side-saddle riding habit at the end of XIX – the beginning of XX centuries were explored (for further details see https://www.emeraldinsight.com/doi/full/10.1108/IJCST-12-2017-0192).

Riding skirt (1907) - a digital reconstruction

The presented object is a trzos belt – a wide leather belt with a pocket for storing money and documents. It was made in the 2nd half of the 20th century by a Romani saddler near the Romanian city of Brasov (Braşov in Romanian).
The belt was made of a double-folded strip of leather; at the upper edge there is an additional narrow pleat. It is fastened with 4 metal buckles, through which short straps with punched leather eyelets are threaded (5 in each strap). The end of each strap can be additionally fixed by threading it through a belt loop in a vertical leather belt (7 cm wide) attached to the trzos belt with 3 pairs of brass rivets.

## Scanning
The motorcycle was scanned in IR-mode on the Rigil using 1.5mm resolution and feature tracking without connection to a PC. The picture of the bike misleads about the lighting conditions (modern smartphone witchery be thanked): the place was too dim for texture tracking and in these cases better results can be achieved by only using feature tracking. For scanning itself I didn't do any preparations like scan spray and focused on the both sides by using the saddle as the connection for switching sides.  
While scanning the Rigil held a constant 20 FPS (if texture tracking would be also enabled for hybrid tracking FPS will be lower). Scanning itself took roughly 5min.

## Post-Processing
Post processing was done on my workstation and included generation of the point cloud and subsequent meshing in recommended settings. Since it came out to 15M triangles I reduced it to 4M so the scan could be uploaded to Sketchfab.

This is a 3D model of a white horse with dark spots, commonly known as an Appaloosa. The horse is equipped with a bright blue saddle and a golden yellow chest that sits behind the rider's seat. It features a clean, stylized design that would be perfect for an adventure game or a digital collection.

The bowl is composed of stone-tempered reddish-brown clay. It is equipped with a saddle-shaped, narrow handle. The vessel's exterior is characterised by the presence of partial decorations, manifesting as incised lines and notches. The most intriguing aspect of this vessel is its structural design, which comprises two distinct compartments intended for the accommodation of disparate materials. The artefact was subjected to significant restoration due to its poor physical condition.

This Adaptor allows the use of 6x9'' speakers instead of the smaller 5x7'' speakers in a Harley Davidson saddlebag Lid (CVO style) 2014 and newer.
Please note that the plastic speaker cage inside of the Lid has to be removed.

Can be printed without supports. ABS recommended, but PLA also worked fine for me.
Just mirror it in your slicer to get left / right version.

Use the Distance Ring for correct hight if needed.

A small clay horse made of brown-red, fine clay, finished with a thin, colourless lead glaze. The horse’s front and hind legs are stretched out, and its head is tucked in. The saddle has a high-rising front section and is shaped like a reclining chair at the rear. The chest is pierced from the front to accommodate a wooden lance. It is most likely a part of a children’s jousting game.

Toy horse

3D model of Saddle Mountain on the coast of Oregon.  This took 10 batteries and 4 hours of flying to capture.  It is one of the largest models I've made to date at over 150 million points.  This was just for fun but I thought perhaps some locals would enjoy it.
