Bifacial axe carved with the profile image of a flayed face, showing a transversely oriented eye, a nose with nostrils defined by a circular perforation, an open mouth, and prominent cheekbones. Each facial feature is delineated by incised channels. Traces of cinnabar or hematite are present on the surface.
