"An earlier phase of the causeway is visible half way down the foreshore - previously partly hidden under the cambered concrete causeway until it broke up. The earlier phase aligns to the true end of the stair. The current granite setts were added to raise the level on the foreshore and the stair passes underneath the setts." - The City of London Archaeological Society (@COLAS_London).

On the river wall above the stairs is a parish boundary engraving for St Dunstan in the East and All Hallows by the Tower with the date: 1819.

Martello Tower (DU005-033) No. 10 on Shenick's Island, inside a promontory fort (DU005-116), 1km east of the north Dublin coastline protecting the strand at Skerries, Fingal.  Red Island Martello Tower No. 11 (DU005-018) visible 1.6km to the NW,  Drumanagh Martello Tower No. 9 (DU008-006003) stands 3.7km to the south. One of 12 ordnance towers constructed to the north of Dublin Bay in 1804 by Colonel Benjamin Fisher of the Royal Engineers in order to defend the Dublin coastline from a French Naval invasion during the Napoleonic Wars (1803-15). Two storey high circular shaped rubble built tower covered with a lime render. Tower was entered through a 1st floor doorway on the landward side accessed by an external ladder protected by a projecting machicolation.  The gun platform supported a 24-pounder cannon enclosed by a parapet wall carried on a cut stone string course. Wattsville Castle

This object is a one-stroke dense knot domain extruded into a closed 3D tube mesh, using the PAPP-OSG route from constrained path to validated woven geometry.
Generated, not hand-modeled: the Dara Knot begins as a gate-constrained one-stroke path on a 32-grid dense circular domain, then is materialized as a Catmull–Rom ribbon and a 10-sided tube with parallel-transport framing and z-lift weaving. Its signature is maximum crossing density packed into a single closed oak-root knot field.

The cherub heads on the balustrade of the Nepomuk Chapel in Mauerbach are sculpted decorative elements mounted on a spherical base, featuring several angel heads arranged in a circle, each with childlike facial features and stylized hair. This so-called putto or cherubim depiction is typical of the Baroque style and symbolizes the heavenly sphere as well as the depicted saint’s closeness to the divine. The spherical form on which the heads are arranged reinforces the impression of a cloud-like mass, a motif frequently used in Baroque art to represent the heavens. As part of the balustrade, these finials simultaneously mark the boundary between the secular exterior and the sacred interior of the chapel, thereby contributing both to the decorative design and to the symbolic significance of the structure.

St Marys Church Marshfield

Board of Ordnance limestone boundary stone no. 3 as annotated on the 1859 War Office plan of the ordnance tower on Shenick's Island.  This boundary stone to the SW of the Martello Tower was one of 10 stones demarcating a circular area aound the base of the tower which belonged to the Board of Ordnance. This circular piece of land was accessed by a War Department Right of Way to the SW which was delimited by a series of unmarked granite stones.  The land amounting to half an acre was purchased in 1806 by the War Office from Hans Hamilton (c. 1758-1822) son of James Hamilton of Sheephill & Holmpatrick. According to Wikipedia: 'The Board of Ordnance was a British government body, its headquarters in the Tower of London. Its primary responsibilities were 'to act as custodian of the lands, depots and forts required for the defence of the realm and its overseas possessions, and as the supplier of munitions and equipment to both the Army and the Navy. In 1855 it was disbanded and replaced by the War Department'.

The MK 235 cassette recorder (sometimes referred to as “ZRK MK 235” or “MK 235 Automatic”) was manufactured in 1976-1978. The portable cassette recorder, positioned on the boundary of popular and standard product classes, was designed to record sound and play back recordings. Its design was based on the licensed C-235 model by Grundig. It incorporated transistors and an integrated circuit. The MK 235 is powered from an AC source or batteries (five R14 type batteries). Operation time using batteries is about 14 hours. The tape recorder is designed to play cassettes at a tape speed of 4.75 cm/s. The aesthetics of the device are minimalistic, dominated by the geometry of its overall shape. Its form is livened up by the rounding of its edges, using geometric shapes and grooves to divide the planes.
