3D scan of the calcium carbonate skeleton of a stony coral (*Coeloria lamellina*). This coral was collected during the Austro-Hungarian deep-sea expeditions of 1890–1898. Onboard of the SMS Pola scientists conducted the first comprehensive oceanographic and biological studies of the Mediterranean and Red Seas.
