Description
This rock features multiple plant fragments, including a bog myrtle leaf (*Myrica lignitum*) on one side and abundant conifer shoots on the other. It comes from the Eibiswalder Schichten, a rock formation that formed 14–18 million years ago during the early Miocene Epoch.
This object is part of the historical ‘Ettingshausen collection’, which is on permanent loan from the Institute of Biology, University of Graz. It is not currently on display.
