Rhyolite is a ghost town in Nye County, in the U.S. state of Nevada. It is in the Bullfrog Hills, about 120 miles (190 km) northwest of Las Vegas, near the eastern edge of Death Valley. The town began in early 1905 as one of several mining camps that sprang up after a prospecting discovery in the surrounding hills. During an ensuing gold rush, thousands of gold-seekers, developers, miners and service providers flocked to the Bullfrog Mining District. Mining Town

"The Separatist Council War Room was a secure command center located in the Klegger Corp Mining Facility on Mustafar during the Clone Wars. It was to here that the leaders of the Confederacy of Independent Systems retreated at the end of the conflict.

The war room was part of a secret command facility built onto the side of the Mustafar mining complex to act as a secure bunker for the Separatist Council. A landing pad was located outside the chamber, with a control room annex used to monitor approaching vessels. An observation balcony running the length of the war room's exterior provided a hellish view of the Mustafar mining operations far below."

The MM-003 is designed to function in space with various use cases such as space station assembly, satellite maintenance, space-junk cleanup, asteroid mining, and cargo transportation.

This vehicle was manufactured by the Oscillator Space Company (OSC) with a custom cockpit to protect the pilot from solar radiation, a rear habitat module, and three arms for a large array of tasks.

The Ute Ulay Mining Complex is located along the Alpine Loop Scenic Byway just south of Lake City, Colorado. The Ute Ulay mining claims were discovered in 1871 and were one of the biggest producers of gold and silver in the San Juan Mountains. The Bureau of Land Management Gunnison Field Office has partnered with Hinsdale County to promote heritage tourism and has stabilized and preserved several structures within the mining complex. Ute Ulay was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017.

The wooden water tank was filled by the flume from the Ute Ulay Dam. The water tank supplied water to the hydropower plant through three vertical pipes to three Leffel turbine water wheels that powered the electrical generating equipment in the power plant. The water tank was constructed in 1926 along with the dam, flume, and hydropower plant.

Full name: **Astronomical telescope with a Gregorian mirror system**

This type of telescope was first described in 1663 by James Gregory (1638-1675), a Scottish mathematician and astronomer, professor at the University of Edinburgh and St. Andrews University in Scotland. Inventor of the first reflecting telescope. He proposed a method of determining an astronomical unit based on observations of the transit of Venus in front of the disc of the Sun. 

This particular telescope was engineered by Jesse Ramsden (1735–1800), optician, maker of scientific instruments, mainly astronomical and navigational ones, Fellow of the Royal Society in London.

Mining Guild Tanker

A dump truck is a heavy-duty commercial vehicle designed to transport and unload loose materials like sand, gravel, soil, or demolition waste using a hydraulic, rear-hinged open-box bed. They are essential for construction, mining, and landscaping, featuring rugged builds for heavy loads, with capacities ranging from small jobs to massive mining hauls. This model is export from Drive Simulator 2016

When Meetra Surik arrived on the Ebon Hawk, the dock officer stored cargo—including programming spikes—in the hold, noting it could only be opened with explosives. He was surprised mining droids had repaired the ship despite many miners being in med-bay after droid-caused accidents. Off shift, he saw droids fixing port stabilizers, likely under orders from HK-50, posing as a protocol droid. However, the navicomputer was voice-locked, preventing takeoff.

As accidents increased, an emergency lockdown began. The dock officer reached the dormitories and tried using a holo-transmitter to contact administration, but the console was cut off. Unable to break the seal, he failed to override the lockdown and sent weak distress signals beyond the asteroid field, hoping for rescue. By the time Surik awoke, toxic fumes had killed everyone in the facility.

Kotor 2 - Peragus Dock Officer

A cousin and abberant subspecie of the Alpha Ripper, the Scorched Ripper is a six-legged version of the crimson xenohyena that roams the remnants of the Eryxian jungle. While most active during the Scorched Season, some individuals survive underground through normal cycles, posing a formidable threat in excavation tunnels, outpost building sites, and to mining drill parties.

When the suns of Eryxia reach their zenith and the jungle bursts into flame, most life either flees or perishes. The  Scorched Ripper does neither. Its reinforced carapace—its heat-resistant chitin and fused metallic growths—allows it to thrive in temperatures that would melt lesser flesh.

Xenohyena: Alpha Ripper Scorched [Concept]

Old Mining Helmet

When skirmishes erupted after Meetra Surik arrived at Peragus aboard the Ebon Hawk, the medical officer placed the unconscious Surik in a kolto tank and sent Kreia, believed dead, to the morgue. Two droids—T3-M4 and an HK-50 assassin droid—were assigned to maintenance. As HK-50 secretly sabotaged the facility, explosions and mining droid attacks left many miners injured or dead, forcing the medical officer to oversee mounting casualties. After HK-50 caused a fuel detonation that triggered a lockdown, she and other staff retreated to the dormitories. There, she proposed contacting Surik via holo-transmitter, but the medical computer had been cut off. Toxic fumes soon filled the ventilation system, killing her and the remaining miners.

Peragus Medical Officer

The JMC MK1 Bazookoid, it's a serious but of mining equipment... better used for blasting aliens into lots of little pieces. This project has been in my mind for a year and it's been a BLAST to make. This version is specifically the S3:E3 "Polymorph" version, it was difficult to strike the balance between epic sci-fi blaster and shoddy BBC prop but I feel this lands comfortably in the middle. As for workflow it was modelled in blender then baked and textured in Substance Painter, simple! I usually rush through texturing as I get closer to being able to make some sweet renders, so this time I took my time, so I hope the renders are even sweeter. A mention is due for Rob Grant who passed 2 weeks ago, as of this post, for making a very funny show which has left a lasting impression on me, without his equally clever and stupid ideas this project wouldn't exist.

The V.L.O. (Venganzan Liberation Organization) is a militant resistance movement from the island nation of Venganza in Critical Depth. Coorta was a miner at the Peragus Mining Facility in 3951 BBY, known for smuggling blasters, spice, and grenades. Seeking profit, he planned to sell the exiled Jedi Meetra Surik to the Exchange, which offered a bounty on Jedi. Surik had arrived unconscious aboard the Ebon Hawk, brought by T3-M4, along with a hidden HK-50 assassin droid posing as a maintenance officer.

learning Surik’s identity, Coorta conspired with other miners to capture and sell her, despite opposition from Foreman Sien and intervention by the Administration Officer, who tried contacting the Republic to send Surik to Telos IV. HK-50 manipulated Coorta, promising help while plotting to eliminate witnesses. Using the maintenance officer’s voice, the droid ordered mining droids to attack, triggered explosions, locked down the facility, and sabotaged ventilation, flooding dormitories with toxic fumes.

HK-50 betrayed Coorta, reversed turbolift codes, and ordered mining droids to kill him and his fellow conspirators.

Kotor 2 - Coorta

The Peragus Mining Facility’s Maintenance Officer oversaw droid repairs during the Dark Wars. In 3951 BBY, he was killed when the station’s droids, secretly hacked by an HK-50 assassin droid, turned on him while the droid searched for Jedi Exile Meetra Surik.

After Surik arrived aboard the Ebon Hawk, an HK-50 unit posing as a protocol droid was sent to maintenance. It exposed Surik as a Jedi, stirring tension among miners eager to claim the Exchange’s bounty. Assigned work by the officer, HK-50 secretly used his voice to issue commands and access locked systems, framing him and manipulating miners like Coorta.

As unexplained droid “accidents” increased, the officer voice-locked the maintenance console, suspecting sabotage. Before he could uncover the truth, an emergency lockdown was triggered. Mining droids broke into his office, and HK-50 recorded his final moments as the droids drilled him to death.
