**Brisbane City Council Scania L94UB **CNG [Volgren] intended for Transport Fever.
Modelled between 28 March - 08 April 2020.

Once typical of Brisbane's fleet is this Scania L94UB with Volgren CR224L bodywork. The standard Volgren body has been altered in appearance with a normal Scania front.
The kite symbol reflects the bus' green credentials being CNG powered. The G prefix denotes its allocation to the Garden City depot which feeds the busway.

The Milwaukee Road Depot was a train station in Minneapolis Minnesota, formerly known as the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad Company:
Station. It is designed in an Italianate style and was constructed from 1897 to 1899. The spire was destroyed in a storm in 1941 and no longer exists on the station which now operates as a hotel.

It was added to the NRHP in 1978.

Milwaukee Road Depot

Cette machine à fabriquer les bouteilles a été inventée par Claude Boucher. La machine a été mise au point dès 1894 à la verrerie de Cognac. Le brevet d'invention a été déposé en 1898. Elle fut primée lors de l'Exposition Universelle de 1900. Le modèle présenté ici est en fonte et a été réalisé en 1903 par la fonderie du Poitou.

Il s'agit de la première machine semi-automatique à fabriquer des bouteilles. Cette machine a permis d’améliorer la productivité en réduisant le temps de formation et en améliorant les conditions de travail. En effet, il était désormais possible de faire appel à de simples manœuvres et d’utiliser un compresseur mécanique pour souffler le verre.

Panther Sculpture

Ce monstre, à la fois reptile, chauve-souris, aigle et scorpion, est une figure légendaire présente dans les récits de la vie de sainte Radegonde, fondatrice de l'abbaye Sainte-Croix au 6e siècle et patronne de Poitiers. Selon les traditions, cette Grand’ Goule dévorait les religieuses du couvent avant que Radegonde ne l'abatte  d'une malédiction et d'un signe de croix.

Cette effigie, en bois polychrome dont la gueule est articulée, mesure près de deux mètres de long, Elle fut exécutée par le maître-sculpteur Jean Gargot en 1677, comme l'atteste la signature apposée sur le poitrail. Elle succède certainement à des représentations du monstre sur bannières.

La Grand' Goule

Edifié en 1552 par François Colas des Francs, bourgeois marchand d'Orléans, le cabinet conservait ses archives et son trésor. Il est remarquable par sa riche décoration intérieure d'époque Renaissance. Il fut successivement la propriété de la Congrégation des Petites Soeurs Dominicaines puis de l'Etat puis de la Ville d'Orléans. Rescapé des bombardements de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, il agrémente  le jardin Jacques-Boucher.

EN:  A wooden ships bollard with iron pin, for belaying mooring lines. Found as part of a wreck with signs of burning and likely a gunpowder explosion. Dimensions: height 30 cm, largest width 48 cm. Kept at the Dutch National Maritime Archaeological Depot at Museum Batavialand. Excavated from shipwreck OK45, found on lot K45 near Dronten, province of Flevoland, the Netherlands. Wreck date: 1672/1673.

NL: Een houten bolder van een schip met ijzeren pin er doorheen, voor bevestiging van trossen om aan te kunnen meren. Ships bollard (bolder van een schip) K45-236

EN: A 1:10 scale ship model, a reconstruction based on archaeological documentation from the 1986 excavation of shipwreck OH41, a fish transport vessel or 'ventjager'. The model was made by the late Jan van der Zee. Dimensions: length 72 cm, width 20 cm, height 16 cm. Kept at the Dutch National Maritime Archaeological Depot at Museum Batavialand. The original wreck was found near Swifterbant in the province of Flevoland, the Netherlands. Wreck date: circa 1710.

NL: Een scheepsmodel van schaal 1:10, een reconstructie gebaseerd op de archeologische documentatie van het in 1986 opgegraven scheepswrak OH41, een vistransportschip dat ook wel ventjager wordt genoemd. Reconstruction model of shipwreck, model H41OFL

Board of Ordnance limestone boundary stone no. 3 as annotated on the 1859 War Office plan of the ordnance tower on Shenick's Island.  This boundary stone to the SW of the Martello Tower was one of 10 stones demarcating a circular area aound the base of the tower which belonged to the Board of Ordnance. This circular piece of land was accessed by a War Department Right of Way to the SW which was delimited by a series of unmarked granite stones.  The land amounting to half an acre was purchased in 1806 by the War Office from Hans Hamilton (c. 1758-1822) son of James Hamilton of Sheephill & Holmpatrick. According to Wikipedia: 'The Board of Ordnance was a British government body, its headquarters in the Tower of London. Its primary responsibilities were 'to act as custodian of the lands, depots and forts required for the defence of the realm and its overseas possessions, and as the supplier of munitions and equipment to both the Army and the Navy. In 1855 it was disbanded and replaced by the War Department'.

Shenick's Martello Tower Boundary Stone No. 3

EN: A wooden sculpture in the form of a Dutch merchant, with slight traces of original paint remaining. Called a hoekman ('corner man)', it was part of the stern decoration of 17th-century fluit-ship. The wreck was dubbed the 'Ghost Ship' and lies at a depth of around 130 meters in the Baltic Sea. Kept at the Dutch National Maritime Archaeological Depot at Museum Batavialand. Excavated from the Ghost Ship in 2010; property of Sweden. Wreck date: middle of the 17th century.

NL: Een houten beeld in de vorm van een Hollandse koopman, en waarop nog verfresten zijn achtergebleven. Oorspronkelijk een hoekman genoemd, die deel uitmaakte van de versierde spiegel van een 17de-eeuws fluitschip. Dit wrak kreeg de naam het 'Ghost Ship' en ligt op een diepte van ca. 130 meter in de Oostzee. Nationaal Scheepsarcheologisch Depot, Museum Batavialand. 'Corner man' sculpture (hoekman) GSBS-1

EN: A 1:20 scale ship model, a reconstruction based on archaeological documentation from the 1972 excavation of shipwreck OF3, identified as Groninger tjalk the 'Fiducie', nicknamed 'Zeehond' (seal). The model was made by the late Jan van der Zee. Dimensions: length 105 cm, width 18 cm, height 20 cm. Kept at the Dutch National Maritime Archaeological Depot at Museum Batavialand. The original wreck was found near Lelystad in the province of Flevoland, the Netherlands. Wreck date: 1882.

Reconstruction model of shipwreck, model F3OFL

British army military barracks,Summerhill, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary. 19th-century upright boundary stone No 5 now built into roadside wall on the north side of the entrance to the barracks. Stone marked the front boundary of the property belonging to the military barracks. B ↑ O which stands for Board of Ordnance. The broad arrow pointing upwards carved between the B O of which the pheon is a variant, is a stylised representation of a metal arrowhead, comprising a tang and two barbs meeting at a point. It is a symbol used traditionally in heraldry, most notably in England, and later by the British government to mark government property. Erected before 1855 when the Board of Ordnance was disbanded and replaced by the War Department. The stone had an earlier number 6 beneath the No. 5 which has had a line put through it, beneath this there are the letters 8 ft. Front. The Board of Ordnance were the custodian of the lands, depots and forts required for the defence of Britain & Ireland.

EN: A blue and white glazed butter ceramic butter dish with two vertical handles. Dimensions: width 18.5 cm, diameter 11.6 cm, height 11.2 cm. Kept at the Dutch National Maritime Archaeological Depot at Museum Batavialand. Excavated from shipwreck NM20 (a freighter carrying buckwheat husks), found near Bant in the Noordoostpolder, the province of Flevoland, the Netherlands. Wreck date: 1815-1825.

Excavated from shipwreck OG34, a freighter found near Dronten, in the province of Flevoland, the Netherlands. Wreck date: 1739 or shortly thereafter.
