Naruto Rigged

San Lorenzo Colossal Head 6 is one of the smaller examples of colossal heads, standing 1.67 metres. It measures 1.41 metres wide by 1.26 metres deep and is estimated to weigh between 8 and 10 tons. The head was discovered by a farmworker and was excavated in 1965 by Luis Aveleyra and Román Piña Chan. It is sculpted with a net-like head covering joined together with sculpted beads. A covering descends from under the headdress to cover the back half of the neck. The headband is divided into four strips and begins above the right ear, extending around the entire head. A short strap descends from either side of the head to the ear. The ear ornaments are complex and are larger at the front of the ear than at the back. The face is that of an ageing male with the forehead creased in a frown, wrinkles under the eyes, sagging cheeks and deep creases on either side of the nose.

Rabbit Headband

Miniature anthropomorphic effigy vessel with convergent walls and a narrow mouth, decorated with a white slip and featuring the face of an elderly individual in relief. The figure displays closed eyes, a prominent nose, a closed mouth, and undulating incised wrinkles on the forehead. What appears to be a headband decorated with vertical incisions is visible, as well as ears with perforations.

"eotihuacan-inspired incense burner from the Pacific Coast of Guatemala, featuring an hourglass-shaped pedestal base and a round lid decorated with a seated female figure. The woman holds a bird, possibly a duck, with its wings outstretched, resting on her lap. Incense Burner with Lid/ Woman with Bird

Spherical ceramic rattle, brown, with a long opening at the bottom and two holes. The details, applied using a pastillage technique, form the head and facial features of a figure wearing a mask with a protruding beak or mouth. It has prominent ears and open eyes. A headdress with round appliqués, a headband with what could be tubular beads, and rectangular ear cuffs complete the composition.

Square-shaped beads

Small bowl with lid, stuccoed and polychromed, the interior of which contains powdered red pigment. The vessel is round and decorated with blue, white and pink stucco. In the central part of the body it has a horizontal band with relief designs of human faces in profile, abstract figures and what could be phytomorphic motifs (leaves and vegetation). The lid is round and flattened with a knob-shaped handle in the shape of a head, wearing a headband decorated with incisions, his hair tied up and back, and round earflares. This vessel may have been used by a painter or scribe.

Maya pigment container

Anthropomorphic mold to manufacture figurines, with the negative image of a male character slightly kneeling on his left knee and with his right foot resting on the ground. He holds his right hand in front of his chest in a gesture, with the fingers facing up. With his left hand he holds a conch shell over his shoulder, as if listening to a conch shell or perhaps holding a conch trumpet. The hair is tied up with ribbons and fabric, with a headband decorated with a series of vertical plates above the forehead.  He wears a hip cloth with a knotted belt, hanging earflares with what appear to be animal fangs, wristlets, decorated sandals, and a beaded necklace with a rectangular breastplate. Mold of Man w/ headdress holding conch shell

Kidney-shaped ocarina with two resonating chambers. The direct-blowing mouthpiece is located at the end of the left chamber, while the right chamber has two tone holes. The front of the piece is decorated with a modeled figure of a seated male character with crossed legs, a protruding belly, and scarification markings on his forehead. He wears a headband, beaded necklace, round ear ornaments, and a belt, all applied using the appliqué technique. Traces of blue paint remain on some areas of its surface.

Kidney-shaped ocarina

This finely carved stone sculpture depicts the head of a youthful male figure, possibly a noble or a representation of the Maize God. The figure features slanted eyes, an aquiline nose, and hair tied upward, adorned with a feathered headdress, circular earspools, and a headband. The stepped fringe is particularly notable, a stylistic trait associated with sites along the Usumacinta River (Mexico and Guatemala).

Head of young man or Maize God

Urn with slightly concave walls, a pedestal base, and two lateral tabs. The vessel has an everted rim with pinched edging, painted white. At the center of the vessel wall is a relief representation of the Old God (Pahuahtún), wearing a headband and a snail positioned atop the head, with round earspools and a beaded necklace with pectoral. The deity features open eyes, expression lines, and wrinkles achieved through incision, and an open mouth showing a single tooth on the left side. The image is framed by two bands decorated with depressions. Place of provenance: Guatemalan Highlands, Quiché region.
