The Three Graces (1813-1814), Antonio Canova (?) (1757-1822), Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek (Copenhagen, Denmark). Made with Memento Beta (now ReMake) from AutoDesk.

The Three Graces, celebrated in classical literature and art, were the daughters of Jupiter (or Zeus in Greek mythology), and companions to the Muses. Thalia (youth and beauty) is accompanied by Euphrosyne (mirth), and Aglaia (elegance).It was commissioned from Antonio Canova by John Russel, 6th Duke of Bedford, who visited the sculptor in his studio in Rome in 1814, and was captivated by the group of the Three Graces which Canova had carved for the Empress Josephine, the estranged wife of Napoleon Bonaparte. She had died in May of that year, and the Duke offered to buy the group from Canova, but Josephine's son claimed it, and that version is now in the Hermitage, St Petersburg.

Black Myth: Wukong is the most popular game in 2024, released on Aug 20. Developed by Game Science.

Black Myth: Wukong is an action RPG rooted in Chinese mythology and based on Journey to the West, one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature. You shall set out as the Destined One to venture into the challenges and marvels ahead, to uncover the obscured truth beneath the veil of a glorious legend from the past. As the Destined One, you shall encounter powerful foes and worthy rivals throughout your journey. Fearlessly engage them in epic battles where surrender is not an option. Aside from mastering various staff techniques, combine different gameplay to find the winning strategy that best suits your combat style.

Black Myth: Wukong - Sun Wu Kong

According to the Hebrew Bible, Solomon's Temple, also known as the First Temple, was the Holy Temple in ancient Jerusalem before its destruction by Nebuchadnezzar II after the Siege of Jerusalem of 587 BCE and its subsequent replacement with the Second Temple in 516 BCE. The period in which the First Temple presumably, or actually, stood in Jerusalem, is known in academic literature as the First Temple period
The Hebrew Bible states that the temple was constructed under Solomon, king of the United Kingdom of Israel and Judah and that during the Kingdom of Judah, the temple was dedicated to Yahweh. During different periods of its operation, Asherah, Baal, the host of heaven and a solarays that "the temple was burnt four hundred and seventy years, six months, and ten days after it was built.

Ablasstruhe / Indulgence Chest

Project Libitina is a cryptic, high-stakes human experimentation program conducted by the mysterious Religious Organization at the Vierhofen Medical Center. Originally hinted at through hidden files in Doki Doki Literature Club, the project involves testing "Third Eye" abilities on humans, resulting in lethal symptoms or extreme behavioral changes like self-harm and vocal cord paralysis. In the Dimensional Coalescence and Doki Doki Takeover lore, the project is often linked to the true origins of the club members—specifically Yuri, she is somehow able to posses and take control of her at times, causing more insane, bloodlusting, and obsessive behavior.

Sayori is the bubbly, optimistic Vice President of the Literature Club who hides her "mean clouds" of depression to keep her friends happy. In the Doki Doki Takeover (FNF) Good Ending, she finds peace and stability alongside a reformed Monika, finally free from the script-driven despair of the original game. Within the Dimensional Coalescence timeline, she serves as a resilient survivor, using her high emotional intelligence and newfound resolve to keep the group's morale intact during the collapse of their reality.

Monika is the self-aware president of the Literature Club who originally manipulated her world's code to be with the player. In the "Good Ending" of Doki Doki Takeover (FNF), she finds redemption by finally reuniting with her friends in a stable reality after moving past her obsessive tendencies. In the Dimensional Coalescence universe, she acts as a reformed leader and support-class survivor, having lost her god-like admin powers but using her remaining glitch abilities to protect her team from external threats.

Yuri is the shy, sophisticated Vice President of the Literature Club, known for her love of complex horror novels and her deep-seated social anxiety. In the Doki Doki Takeover (FNF) Good Ending, she is finally freed from the obsessive, self-harming tendencies caused by the original game’s script, allowing her to pursue her passions for tea and literature in a healthy, stable reality. Now fully in control of her emotions, she acts as a calm and protective presence for her friends, having moved past her "Obsessive" state to find genuine peace within the club and in her new life, making friends with people like Nexus, and Tabi.

**Dating:** 	568-710 CE

The tool is made of antler, and is possibly one of the tines of a red deer antler. It has been hollowed out at the thicker end, and features a central perforation, decorated with a diamond and dot pattern. 
In older literature, such objects of unknown function are identified as devices to loosening tight knots. On occasion, similarly decorated antler segments have been utilised as components of horse bridles. The antler segments were attached to the bridle bit by means of a central perforation.

A flat, spherical copper bead. This object was made by rolling out a metal wire with a rectangular cross-section. During the Neolithic period, particularly in its later phase, the first tools for working copper were already in use. This period is regarded as the beginning of the Metal Ages and is frequently referred to in academic literature as the Copper Age or Chalcolithic. Copper beads are among the earliest evidence of metal being worked into jewellery.

Natsuki is the feisty and defensive member of the Literature Club who uses her love for manga and baking as a shield against her troubled home life. In the Doki Doki Takeover (FNF) Good Ending, she finally finds a safe space where she can drop her guard and be herself without fear of judgment or deletion. Within the Dimensional Coalescence timeline, she evolves into a surprisingly tactical survivor; despite her small stature, she uses her sharp wit and agility to scavenge for the group, proving to be one of the most resilient members when their reality begins to fracture.

The sculpture is approximately 2.30 meters tall. It was created from a 1982 clay model by Günter Grass and installed for the 2004 exhibition Günter Grass: Bronzes – Terracottas – Works on Paper in the Paulinerkirche.
In Grass’s body of work, the flounder (here referring to the halibut) symbolizes life experience and wisdom. A similar but smaller version, the “Bücher-Butt” (“Book Flounder”), served as the trophy for the Deutscher Bücherpreis (German Books Prize), a short-lived award presented in connection with the Leipzig Book Fair.
The complete works of the Nobel Laureate in Literature and recipient of the Samuel Bogumil Linde Prize of the twin cities Göttingen and Toruń are published by Steidl Verlag, Göttingen.

This is my final project for war literature. I had a really good time with this class! We read some nice books such as A Farewell to Arms and The Red Badge of Courage. I like to look back at the morality and philosophy of war and I've always thought about how hard it would be to go to war if you know you may not come back. Those who willingly choose to protect us deserve a monument to remember!
