Ding censer with an openwork cover

The chalice has a circular foot with a small flange with a wavy pattern and three straight sections. The slope of the foot has two folds and is covered with floral patterns as well as Regency ornament and palmette shells. The stem of the foot has a bulging shape. The stem is like that of a candelabrum with a vase-like, fluted nodus enclosed in two hexagonal rings. The cup is slender with an everted edge. It is placed in an openwork basket made of floral and Regency ornaments and palmette shells.
It is one of the few historical works of gold that remained in Tyniec after the dissolution of the monastery.

Miniature tripod bowl made of a copper alloy, with a globular body, spherical supports, and small handles. The decoration is openwork, featuring triangular and circular designs; a horizontal perforation is present in each of the supports.

Bowl

A masterpiece of fiery elegance, this ultra-high-quality katana radiates raw power and ethereal beauty. The long, gently curved blade glows with intense, living flames that dance along its razor-sharp edge, casting a warm, golden-orange radiance. The fire seems alive — licking and swirling around the steel without consuming it, leaving trails of bright embers and glowing particles in the air.
The blade itself has a deep, reflective surface with subtle hamon patterns that shimmer like molten lava beneath the flames. Clean, pristine reflections glide across the polished metal, catching every flicker of the fire.
Its tsuka (handle) is expertly wrapped in black silk cord with elegant diamond-pattern braiding, accented by polished gold menuki. The tsuba (guard) is a striking black iron disc featuring an intricate openwork design of swirling flames and clouds, perfectly balancing the weapon’s aggressive s the surrounding space with soft, cinematic lighting.

**Dating:** 375-200 BCE

The sword is forged from iron, and has an iron scabbard. It is characterised by a hilt with remnants of wood, a small rivet, a spherical pommel with volute decorations, a crossguard featuring a roof-shaped metal plate with spiral volutes, and a rivet securing the plate. The scabbard has a  roof-shaped mouth. On the front are two connected decorative rivets with a gold sheet rivet, coral overlay, below that sheet metal with volutes and below that a triangular, openwork net ornament. Several circular elements can be seen on the sides. The back features a profiled bar, accompanied by a small triangular net ornament backed with gold sheet.

Sword with a scabbard

**Dating:** 450 - 260 BCE

Openwork belt hook made from bronze. The basic shape is triangular. At the upper end, there is a hook that curves inwards. The fastening end is also triangular in shape, and five rivets are utilised to secure the end of the strap. The belt hook is embellished with openwork and cut-out patterns. The geometric patterns consist primarily of teardrop-shaped and circular motifs. The belt hook is used to fasten a belt by hooking it into a belt loop or a ring. Thechnologically it is a simple design which offers a quicker handling. However in contrast to a belt buckle, it was easily comes undone.

Belt hook

An incised, worked, and openwork conch shell, decorated with the image of a man or deity with an elongated head, possibly the Maize God, emerging from the mouth of an aquatic monster through the conch's distal cannula. Each of the conch's nodules, on its upper protuberances, is carved with the image of a skull.

Openwork conch w/ image of Maize God

The fitting is distinguished by its rectangular configuration. The illustration depicts a mythological creature, known as a griffin. The piece was cast in openwork and subsequently gilded. The body of the griffin features triangular-shaped indentations.

A belt buckle composed of a non-ferrous metal, which is characterised by a trapezoidal frame. It is equipped with a rectangular fitting. Following the casting process, the object was subjected to gilding. The fitting is distinguished by an openwork design embellished with a floral motif.

Disc

Tripod incense burner (sahumerio or “Chilascó” incensory) with an openwork, pot-shaped body, convex walls, and a divergent neck. Two of the supports are elongated, while the third is formed by the attached figure of a hunchbacked character, who holds the body of the incense burner in front of him. Traces of pigment are preserved.

Concrete Openwork Plate Road

Anthropomorphic pendant crafted in dark green stone with lighter veins. It features the image of a miniature mask with an elongated nose, openwork mouth, and round eyes. The suspension holes on each side were possibly for attaching it to a necklace or garment.

Anthropomorphic pendant

The artefact is a belt fitting made out of bronze. The rectangular component is affixed with two rivets, and the sides exhibit folded, round openwork decorative elements, of which one is incomplete. Circular ornamentation is partially visible.

Belt Fitting

Shell discs worked with incised and openwork techniques, on decorated with the right profile of what appears to be a bird with an oval eye, crest, and open beak; the other decorated with the face of what appears to be a bird in left profile, with an oval eye and an open beak.  The features are outlined by incisions filled with hematite or cinnabar. These discs may have been ornaments used to decorate diadems, headdresses, or garments. Paired with disc

Shell Discs

Brown–black tripod bowl with straight walls, a flat base, and rectangular openwork supports. The decoration consists of six panels with stylized anthropomorphic and zoomorphic figures (lizards or earth monsters) in relief, followed by a basal molding composed of multiple psittacine bird heads (parrots or macaws) shown in left profile. The supports possibly represent the god Tlaloc, wearing a tall feathered headdress, with round eyes, circular earspools, a necklace with spherical beads, and a trapezoidal nose ornament. NAA of the paste indicates the origin or manufacturing area as the Pacific Coast region, Escuintla.

**Dating:**  Modern

Elongated oval fire striker made of iron. The artifact is characterized by a flat oval outer frame with a closed edge. Inside this frame is an openwork structure of bars and ornaments. The bars run symmetrically along a central axis and form curved, partly heart- or loop-shaped openings. Its original function was to produce sparks using flint and thus light fires. It is evident that such fire strikers or fire irons were indispensable to people prior to the invention of matches in their day-to-day lives.

Lot of two carved and openwork shell discs, decorated with a five-pointed star in the center. Each star design has a hole surrounded by a concentric groove. The edge is decorated with serrated edges. These discs may have been ornaments used to decorate diadems, headdresses, or garments.
