Graphics Card (GPU) – High-Detail 3D Model

A recreation of the Federal Signal DCFCTBD electro-mechanical siren controller without some specs.

Now, I cna't say it's down to the core specs but I can say that this model is pretty detailed. This model includes the controller's slimmer box design & interrior and a completely designspark made controller. This entire thing is a big PCB with a 5 button configuration in order to initiate certian functions like attack or alert.

Federal Signal DCFCTBD Two Way Controller

This enclosure is designed for a temperature controller that plugs into a wall outlet and accepts an oven power cord as input. It switches the oven on and off to maintain a user-defined temperature, which can be set using the three buttons on the top of the unit.

The enclosure is intended to be 3D printed in PETG with a minimum of three perimeters (walls) for adequate strength and heat resistance.

Inside the box:

A small PCB with a voltage regulator steps the voltage down from 22V to 12V to power the main control board because I have used a power supply from an old ink jet printer.

The main temperature control board is a commercially available temperature control module (AliExpress).

All screws are M3 countersunk, used with 3.5 mm M3 heat-set inserts.

A small hole near the button openings is provided for the temperature probe wires.

⚠️ The maximum oven power is limited by the relay rating: 2500 W.

## Scanning
Since there is no reason in making a scan more challenging than necessary I used scan spray on the PCB to create an even surface finish and color. The auto turntable mode benefits quite a lot from scan spray whereas in the normal laser mode it is not necessary most of the time (except very shiny and reflective or transparent parts). 

## Post-Processing
I used 0.1mm for fusion and manually aligned the top and bottom scan by picking points (simply too few overlap for automatic alignment). Meshing was done at 0.1mm and alignment to the coordinate system using Quicksurface. Original scan had roughly 5M triangles, I reduced it to 2M without any noticeable drop in detail (per Quicksurface 100% of the points were within 0.003mm after reducing the triangle count).
