This is an animation (“Mar”) of a hatchling Hawksbill (ID Ei1801) sea turtle (*Eretmochelys imbricata*, straight carapace length 11.8 cm) that was initially rescued by the Loggerhead MarineLife Center, and then photographed with the Beastcam technology with 30 Canon G16 cameras. The sea turtle was released soon after in good condition. The 3D model was initially created through a photogrammetry scan using Capturing Reality.

Animator Johnson Martin used Blender to reconstruct the full sea turtle from these scans, as well as animate the movements. Jeanette Wyneken from Florida Atlantic University, and Charles Mairne from the Loggerhead MarineLife Center each provided feedback on the movements

This is Chip ! The dog of Johnny Silverhand (From Cyberpunk 2077) concept by me. Heavily inspired by both John Wick's dog story wise and Cyberpunk style. Since Keanu Reeves plays both characters, thought it would suit perfectly.

Silverhand rescued him from Maelström gang. Go give him a like !

The Primitive Orbital Station is a Kerbal parody of the historical Soviet Almaz and Salyut space station programs. Shown here is a "Cislunar" orbital complex acting as mothership for 2 mini landers and a micro shuttle supporting the Lunar (KSP: Munar) exploration program. 

The P.O.S. is constructed with parts from Level 1 Research Complex with modules launched using medium lift rockets under 140 tons (i.e., I am too cheap to upgrade the Research Facility with 902,000 funds in a KSP Career game). 

This station is built around a standard Habitation Module with two LK-0 mini-landers and one X-1A Micro Shuttle attached to facilitate orbital rescue or crew recovery during cislunar (KSP: cismunar) operations. Propulsion for the translunar (KSP: transmunar) injection phase of the mission is provided by the POS-2 Propulsion Module which is discarded on a collision course with the Moon (KSP: Mun). 

Note: The acronym for this space station is a pun on this being a very small and quite crappy orbital station!

Suburban American fire station for Cities:Skylines. Based on a station of West Metro Fire Rescue in Lakewood, Colorado.

This was the first model I made for Cities:Skylines, in 2016. Since then I learned a lot more about authoring textures so that they play well with Skylines' lighting/renderer, so I did another pass on this model before uploading it to Steam workshop.

This is a 3D model (“Tumbleweed”) of a juvenile Kemps Ridley Sea Turtle (ID 132) (*Lepidochelys kempii*) that was initially rescued by the New England Aquarium in Massachusetts, and then photographed with the Beastcam technology with 30 Canon G16 cameras. The sea turtle was released soon after in the Southern United States in good condition. The 3D model was initially created through a photogrammetry scan using Capturing Reality.  We digitally scrubbed the ID tag on the shell.

Animator Robert Gutierrez used Blender to reconstruct the full sea turtle from these scans, as well as animate the movements. Jeanette Wyneken from Florida Atlantic University, and Connie Merigo from the New England Aquarium each provided feedback on the movements.

Model 52A - Kemps Ridley Sea Turtle (no ID)

The Sierra Leone-flagged EDRO III ran aground off Pegeia on 8 December 2011 in heavy seas, during a voyage to Rhodes, from Limassol, Cyprus with a cargo of plasterboard. At the time of the accident, the ship had nine crew members - seven Albanians and two Egyptians. The crew were rescued and airlifted to the safety of Paphos by a local British Military helicopter.

The EDRO III weighs about 2,345 tons and is over 80 meters in length. According to Cyprus Marine Environment Protection Association CMEPA, the ship is empty of all cargo and fuel oil and rests on the sea rocks at an 11-12 degree angle. Embarking on the ship is no longer permitted as it is dangerous. Together with Germany's CIMEXTA Vessel Salvage Company, the task of safe removal of all diesel, hydrocarbons and marine pollutants onboard the vessel, and watertighting the hull was awarded to a Cypriot marine salvage company. This was completed in October 2013.

This model was created on the basis of a real-life bathyscaphe "Bester-1", however, I changed some details. This is my first model where I thought about working out the interior.

"Bester-1" is a deep-sea rescue vehicle designed for various kinds of research and rescue operations at a depth of up to 800 m.

This location was featured in Series 1, Episode 2 of Zen Motoring (BBC) where Ogmios finds and rescues a pigeon.

Fast Rescue Craft Mako 655

Red ochre grave in Ligga, Jokkmokk municipality, Norrbotten, Sweden. Due to the ongoing erosion in the area Norrbottens museum began a rescue survey of the stone setting in 2022.  The 3D-model shows the stone setting after the turf has been removed. 

In Norrbotten the burial tradition including stone settings filled with red ochre coloured sand can be dated to Late Mesolithic times. This tradition seems to have developed locally among people living around the Bothnian Bay.

The Capitoline Wolf (Italian: Lupa Capitolina) is a bronze sculpture of a she-wolf suckling twin human infants, inspired by the legend of the founding of Rome. According to the legend, when Numitor, grandfather of the twins Romulus and Remus, was overthrown by his brother Amulius, the usurper ordered the twins to be cast into the Tiber River. They were rescued by a she-wolf who cared for them until a herdsman, Faustulus, found and raised them. Laundry Day

Treecko and Mudkip make a plan! I wanted to model this after playing the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon remake and reuniting my old rescue team.

*RNLB Jane Anne* is  an important survivor from Irvine's past, and a rare example of its type in Scotland. It's a double-ended, self-righting, pulling and sailing lifeboat, which was based at  the town's  RNLI station. It was manned mainly by the locally renowned Sinclair family and participated in seven rescues, saving  12 lives.

Built in 1898 by the Thomas Ironworks Co. in Millwall, London, *Jane Anne* began operating out of Irvine shortly afterwards and remained in use there until the station closed in 1914.
The boat's design meant it was open to the elements and relied entirely on the muscle power the crew who rowed it. The special construction of the hull, using diagonal cross planking, made it very strong with the enclosed ends providing buoyancy and ensuring that the crew is safe even in bad weather.


The model was created as a part of 'Scanning The Horizon' 3D Digitisation Project.
