A quick n' dirty (as usual) test in Blender at retopologizing and manually (pun intended) rigging a great scan: ["Hand"](https://skfb.ly/6GW88) by [Artec 3D](https://sketchfab.com/artec3d), available under CC-attribution.

A 3D model inspired by the The Vast Land / [A Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wang_Ximeng),  by Wang ximeng, a painter of the Norther Song dynasnty, China. Painted in 1113, Wang Ximeng was only 18 years old when he painted the master piece. To the disappointment of everyone, including the artist Emperor Huizong, who personally taught him, Wang Ximeng died shortly after, depriving us of any further masterpieces. The painting is now in Palace Musuem Beijin, and was influiential for many generations to come!

Made in Houdini and textured in Blender.

After the death of Ferdinand I (1383), there was a succession war between Ferdinand's daughter Beatrice, queen of Castile and Ferdinand's half brother, John I. The battle of Aljubarrota was the decisive moment which marked the victory of John, the founding of the Aviz dynasty (1385-1580) and the beginning of military alliance between England and Portugal. This alliance is still active today (800 years old) and was used during the second world war.

The battle was also an important mark in the 100 years war. It was one of the many losses the French suffered. A trend that was changed later by Jeanne d'Arc.

Modeled after the  Chapel of the Archangel Michael in Kizhi Island of Karelia (Russia), with a few elements from the Chapel of the Holy Face.

The Chapel of the Archangel Michael was moved to Kizhi in 1961 from the Lelikozero village. It measures 12.0×3.0×11.0 metres and has a rectangular frame elongated from east to west and a two-slope roof. Above the entrance hall there is a belfry capped with a pyramid roof. The iconostasis of the chapel has two tiers and contains icons of 17th–18th centuries

This model shows the innovative triple dome at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London. This scale model is created from measured plans of the structure and is accurate to the foot. The dome consists of three interlinked structures:

*     **The Inner Dome** – visible from the cathedral interior and purely for show
*     **The Middle Dome** – a brick cone that is invisible from below but supports the 850 ton lantern above
*     **The Outer Dome** – a wood and lead-roofed structure visible from the cathedral exterior

The Inner and Outer Domes are decorative, while the Middle Dome is the true weight-bearing support system.
