Explore the underwater world with Mavka, the green-haired mermaid from Ukrainian folklore. Dressed in a beautiful vyshyvanka and a wreath, Mavka swims gracefully among water plants and air bubbles, in search of new discoveries in the bottom of her pond. This anime-stylized model captures the essence of Mavka's whimsical spirit.

**Painted folk cupboard (low cabinet)**

2nd half of the 19th century, Rudawa, Poland

Cupboards were usually made by a local carpenter upon commission and their possession was indicative of its owner’s wealth. This furniture was used until July 1966 when it was purchased by the museum from Józef Mucha from Rudawa.

The surface of the cupboard is covered with a single colour primer – green obtained by mixing Parisian blue with bright yellow. Four little bouquets are put on profiled door panels. On the surface of the sides, on the external edges, a flower festoons motif is repeated. In the upper part of the base, a circular wreath of tiny leaves is painted.

**Dating:** 2nd-3rd century AD

Appliqué with red paint in the form of a Silenus head. The head of an old, bearded man with a button nose and round, protruding eyes looks straight ahead. The mouth is slightly open and depicted with thick lips. On the plastically rendered hair at the forehead, he probably wears a stylized wreath. A full beard frames the round face and is braided into thick plaits. On the reverse, the ridges of the vessel wall are still visible. The appliqué comes from a vessel that was probably used in Dionysian festivities.

This marker features a traditional 19th-century firefighter's helmet. Monuments like these honor the dangerous reality of volunteer fire brigades during the industrial age.

**Preservation Status & Discovery:**
This "Digital Twin" captures two critical elements of the monument's current state. First, the upper block has been severely displaced from its pedestal base, likely due to kinetic impact (such as a fallen tree limb or heavy groundskeeping equipment). Second, the digitization process revealed intricate carved foliage and wreath details surrounding the helmet—features that were nearly invisible to the naked eye in the field due to heavy biological growth and shadows. This scan ensures these hidden details are preserved and easily studied.

19th-century headstone of Mary Toohey  (born c. 1747) who died aged 70 in 1817 & was buried in Nenagh graveyard, Kenyon Street, Co. Tipperary.  Headstone was erected by her son Patrick Toohey of Nenagh.  Memorial stone also marks the grave of his son Rodger Toohey (born c. 1817) who died in 1819 aged 2 years old.   Inscription is framed within a chequerboard filled border, above the inscription is a border of four rosettes.  Above this there are two encircled 8-pointed stars / sunburst with scroll above with Latin motto Gloria In Excelsis Deo.   Flanked on either side by a ciboirum or communion cup.  Top of the headstone there is an I H S Christogram with Latin Cross rising from the crossbar of the H encircled within a sunburst and floral wreath.
