Dunblane Cathedral’s cross-slab is a fully ornamented stone carved on both faces, now displayed at the west end of the North Aisle after being found beneath a staircase in the Lady Chapel/Chapter House. It stands just over 6 feet high and is usually dated to the 10th century.

Although often described as a late Pictish sculpture, its date places it in a period of major cultural change. By around AD 900, older Pictish identity was giving way to the new Gaelic-speaking kingdom of Alba, so the stone may be better understood in that context rather than as purely “Pictish”.

The carvings were described in detail by John Romilly Allen in 1881 and later reproduced in The Early Christian Monuments of Scotland (with Joseph Anderson). The rear face includes a dense decorative panel featuring paired beasts, spirals, key-patterns, raised bosses, a small cross, a horseman with spear and hound, a circular disc with cruciform design, and a standing man with staff.

Dunblane 'Pictish' Cross Slab

Broken cross slab in the graveyard of the now Church of Ireland building in Freshford, a religious site going back to early Christianity. The carving of the cross is somewhat similar to [one at the Black Abbey](https://skfb.ly/pvpBv). Stylistically, it dates to the 13th or 14th century.

Early-christian cross-slab attached to the wall of the enclosure surrounding the holy well dedicated to St. Mochulla, patron saint of the monastery of Tulla, Co. Clare. The medieval church & graveyard of Tulla was built on the site of the monastery founded by St. Mochulla in the 7th century. The cross-slab may have been removed from the monastic site in the 19th-century. Sandstone slab decorated with a cross pattée within a penannular circle, the ends of which curve inwards to form a spiral motif either side of an incised line running down the centre of the stone. Beneath the cross head there are double scrolls forming interlocking comma-shapes similar to the double pelta designs. The stem of the cross has an upturned crescent shaped base with spiral terminals. Similar in design to cross-slab (KE042-060008-) at Reask, Co. Kerry. Strade Dominican Friary, National Monument No. 172.  The abbey at Strade dates to the mid-13th century, when it first started as a Franciscan Friary, established by the Lord of Athlethan (Ballylahan), Jordan de Exeter. The Dominican friars moved into Strade in 1253. The priory was dedicated to the Holy Cross.  A papal indulgence granted in 1434  may have resulted in a rebuilding phase of the church. The carving of a bird possibly an eagle/peacock with a serpent in its beak on the south wall of the crossing tower of the friary church dates from the 15th-century.  In medieval Christianity, the bird & the serpent symbolize the battle between Christ (or virtue) & the Devil (or sin). The bird represents divine power, resurrection, and Heaven, often fighting or carrying off the serpent, which embodies evil, malice, & the fall of man. This carving may represent 'Christ in Triumph'. Statue of St. Scholastica at the Baroque Way of the Cross in Heiligenkreuz. The sandstone figures located there were created starting in 1731.
	
St. Scholastica (c. 480–547) was the twin sister of Benedict of Nursia and, like him, lived her life entirely in the spirit of the Christian faith. She founded a community of women near Montecassino and is considered a pioneer of the Benedictine nuns. According to tradition, she met her brother once a year for spiritual discussions; at their last meeting, a sudden thunderstorm prevented him from leaving after Scholastica had prayed for a longer stay together. Shortly afterwards, she died, and Benedict saw in a vision her soul ascending to heaven like a dove. Her feast day is February 10.

The Prototype Legs - Poppy Playtime (Simple)

Top half of the texture is dithered, bottom half isn't. I couldn't decide and this was a speed modeling exercise so I didn't really care. You could make more than 8 pieces by duplicating chunks and just shifting the UVs, they'll all line up.

This was created for a retro inspired personal project, thus the low res texture. A detail texture set in-engine + an upscaler would be best if you want it crisp at 4k or whatnot.

This 3D model presents a torso sculpture from Petra Christian University, captured using photogrammetry techniques. The model is created by combining multiple photographs taken from various angles, allowing the form, proportions, and surface details of the sculpture to be reconstructed with high accuracy.

Every contour of the torso from the subtle curves of the body to the texture of the material is preserved digitally, resulting in a realistic and immersive representation. Unlike traditional documentation such as photos or videos, this 3D model allows viewers to observe the sculpture from any perspective, offering a more complete visual experience.

The Maramures Gate, a richly decorated wooden passageway, has been located in the Laaer Forest in Vienna's 10th district since 2006. The wooden gate was a gift from Romania on the occasion of Austria's EU Council Presidency. It is artfully decorated with a variety of Christian and pagan symbols. The artwork was created by the renowned woodcarver Master Toader Bârsan from the village of Bârsana in the Maramureș region.

The traditional gates from the Maramureș region are much more than mere entrance gates. They are considered a status symbol, a protective symbol, and a cultural hallmark of the region. With their massive wooden pillars and widely projecting roofs, they symbolically mark the transition from public space to the private, protected area of the family.

The sculpture erected in Kőszeg is a plastic replica of the Hungarian Crown of St. Stephen and incorporates its iconic features in a simplified, monumental form. The hemispherical crown is decorated with flat relief depictions of Christian figures and ornamentally framed image fields, which are based on the medieval enamel iconography of the original. The characteristic slanted cross enhances its high recognition value and refers to historical tradition.
