## Scanning
Since there is no reason in making a scan more challenging than necessary I used scan spray on the PCB to create an even surface finish and color. The auto turntable mode benefits quite a lot from scan spray whereas in the normal laser mode it is not necessary most of the time (except very shiny and reflective or transparent parts). 

## Post-Processing
I used 0.1mm for fusion and manually aligned the top and bottom scan by picking points (simply too few overlap for automatic alignment). Meshing was done at 0.1mm and alignment to the coordinate system using Quicksurface. Original scan had roughly 5M triangles, I reduced it to 2M without any noticeable drop in detail (per Quicksurface 100% of the points were within 0.003mm after reducing the triangle count).

The irregular hexagonal case has a flat base. The piece is set with a dark blue faceted sapphire. At each of the four corners of the elongated sides of the piece, a cylindrical mount has been placed, with a transparent, raspberry-red, round garnet cabochon. The ring band exhibits a flat, trapezoidal cross-section that undergoes uniform expansion. The ring shoulders are formed of stylised animal heads.

Tasting : Bright light pink colour and vivid small bubbles. Pure and floral nose with rose petal, fresh red berries, ripe citrus and some roasted nutty notes. Good grip on the palate, youthful fruit with some mature autolytic notes, brioche and butter with crushed raspberry, red citrus, a creamy texture with bright acidity and a long grippy finish. Attractive, generous and vinous.

Vignification : traditional Champagne pressing. Settling and racking by natural gravity. Alcoholic fermentation between 16 and 20°. Maturing on lees, partial malolactic fermentation. Vinification of the red wine in open vats, grapes destemmed, manual pigeage.
