Colossal Titan

This colossal statue of the Nile was found in 1513 in Campo Marzio where it was probably part of the decoration of the Iseo Campense, dedicated to the Egyptian deities Isis and Serapis. The river is shown as a venerable old man stretched out on his side with a cornucopia of fruit in his left arm and ears of wheat in his right hand. Egypt is represented by the presence of a sphinx. The scene is enlivened by sixteen children who allude to the sixteen cubits of water by which the Nile rises for its annual flood.

This bronze cast was made after a Roman marble statue in the Musei Vaticani, Rome and donated to the city of Copenhagen by the Albertina Foundation.

Colossal marble bust of Zeus

A mega-sized (may not be in correct scale) fantastic gothic style cathedral made entirely with Unreal Engine's BSP brushes converted to modular static meshes. It is merely a sketch/experiment and not very polished in some faces. I also reused some pieces with different scales so those parts may look deformed. The stone brick textures came from the 'Medieval Dungeon' free asset pack in the Epic Games Store.

BSP Colossal Gothic Cathedral

San Lorenzo Colossal Head 6 is one of the smaller examples of colossal heads, standing 1.67 metres. It measures 1.41 metres wide by 1.26 metres deep and is estimated to weigh between 8 and 10 tons. The head was discovered by a farmworker and was excavated in 1965 by Luis Aveleyra and Román Piña Chan. It is sculpted with a net-like head covering joined together with sculpted beads. A covering descends from under the headdress to cover the back half of the neck. The headband is divided into four strips and begins above the right ear, extending around the entire head. A short strap descends from either side of the head to the ear. The ear ornaments are complex and are larger at the front of the ear than at the back. The face is that of an ageing male with the forehead creased in a frown, wrinkles under the eyes, sagging cheeks and deep creases on either side of the nose.

Olmec Head

Mount Rushmore National Memorial is centered on a colossal sculpture carved into the granite face of Mount Rushmore in the Black Hills in Keystone, South Dakota. Sculptor Gutzon Borglum created the sculpture's design and oversaw the project's execution from 1927 to 1941 with the help of his son, Lincoln Borglum. The sculpture features the 60-foot (18 m) heads of Presidents George Washington (1732–1799), Thomas Jefferson (1743–1826), Theodore Roosevelt (1858–1919) and Abraham Lincoln (1809–1865), as recommended by Borglum. Upper part of a colossal limestone statue of a bearded man, a worshipper or possibly a priest. The complete statue, at least 2m tall, depicted a standing figure in a frontal pose; he wears pleated tunic (chiton) and over the left shoulder a cloak (himation) with a zig-zag fold on the border.

Dating to 450 BC - 425 BC and made in Cyprus.

The Statue of St Thomas by Pierre Le Gros the Younger (c. 1703–1711) resides in the Archbasilica of St. John Lateran in Rome. It was part of Pope Clement XI's project to fill Borromini's niches with twelve colossal apostle statues, sponsored by King Peter II of Portugal. Le Gros was the only sculptor who successfully refused to work from the prescribed drawings by Carlo Maratta. His initial, highly emotional Baroque terracotta model was rejected. The final marble statue is more restrained: St Thomas holds a carpenter's square, with ordered drapery. Parian marble. This colossal right foot was once part of a statue of several times life-size, a scale that in antiquity was only used for images of gods and emperors. It wears a sandal of an elaborate Greek type first seen in the fourth century BC. It is therefore likely that the foot belonged to the statue of a senior Olympian god, probably represented seated as a standing figure would have been more than five metres tall.
